Miron Rafajlović

One of the most versatile trumpet players on the international scene today, Miron Rafajlovic is as comfortable playing jazz as he is playing pop, flamenco or Afro-Cuban music. He spent 8 years touring with the world renown ‘Cirque du Soleil’ and currently tours with Spanish superstar and 28 time Grammy award winner Alejandro Sanz. He has released two albums of his own, ‘Trubadur’ in 2018 and most recently ‘Mediterranean Soul’ in 2023 where he fuses his Balkan roots with flamenco and jazz. Born in Sarajevo, Bosnia, Miron traveled the world before settling in Spain in 2014. He has become one of the most sought after trumpet players in Spain and beyond, having performed or recorded with Alain Perez, Jorge Pardo, Dhafer Youssef, Nguyen Le, Josemi Carmona, Javier Colina, Carles Benavent, Pasión Vega, Diego Guerrero, Caramelo de Cuba, Munir Hossn, Ivan ‘Melon’ Lewis, Alune Wade and Bojan Z just to name a few. Most recently he performed on ‘Camino’, an album by Niña Pastori which won Best Flamenco Album Of The Year at the 2023 Latin Grammys.
