S32HD and ST20 make the “Finals” at Klein ISD, TX USA

Schilke Music Products was proud to participate in a recent independent instrument evaluation trial for professional level trumpets and trombones in July 2010 with the Klein Independent School District outside of Houston, TX. Our Schilke S32HD Medium Large Bore Bb Trumpet and ST20 YNR/S1 Large Bore Tenor Trombone with Axial Flow Valve were selected as finalists in their respected categories as instruments for recommendation to purchase for advanced students and their families in Klein and surrounding Houston market looking to step up into a higher quality professional level trumpet or trombone.

Monte K. Mast, event coordinator and Director of Fine Arts for Klein ISD was pleased to welcome Schilke this year to the evaluation and very impressed with the playability and build quality of the Schilke instruments submitted to the committee. Both trumpet and trombone divisions had approximately 40 brands and models for play test evaluation. A group of educators, private teachers, professional players and select students conducted this session. This evaluation was independent from both manufacturers and retailers with intent of providing unbiased results for suggested purchase to families.

Schilke Music is very proud to have the endorsement of the fine educators in the state of Texas! Schilke actively participates in both TEMA and TBA Conferences in San Antonio, TX each year. These new models were prominently displayed in 2010 and will be showcased again at both conferences in 2011 for play test trials.
